Assistance Program?
The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a joint initiative between the Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools and the College of William & Mary. The office is staffed by graduate and doctoral students from the College.  Student Support Specialists meet with students for individual and group counseling. While the program aims to help students at risk for behavior referrals, academic failure, and alcohol and substance abuse, our doors are open to anyone, who needs to talk.

Who can refer a student?
Faculty, staff, parents, and classmates can refer students. Referral slips are available in all classrooms and on the SAP office door. Referral slips should be returned the SAP mailbox in the main office.

When are student support specialists available?
The SAP office is open Tuesdays from 9:00am-3:00pm and on Thursdays from 7:30am-4:00pm.  Walk-ins and referrals are welcome.
