The Toano Middle School registration for rising 8th graders that was scheduled for tonight (February 9, 2010) at  6:30 PM has been cancelled due to uncertain weather conditions.  We will reschedule this important meeting at a later date.

Due to the recent snow closures and delays, report cards will be sent home on Friday, February 19.

Gangs: An FBI Briefing

The TMS PTA will be hosting a seminar on “Gangs” presented by the Norfolk Branch of the FBI.  Find out more on the threats posed by gangs, and on how you can help spot and prevent gang activity. The seminar will be held at Toano Middle School on Thursday Feb. 11th at 7:30 p.m.  The PTA will be providing child care for younger siblings during the seminar.

School Hours: School officially begins at 7:20 AM and ends at 2:20 PM. Students should report directly to homeroom. Please do not drop your child off before 7:00 AM, since there will be no adult supervision until 7:00 AM. If students arrive late to school, they must report to guidance to obtain a pass to class.
