	Mission Statement

	The Staff of Matthew Whaley Elementary School believes that the elementary school experience will provide the foundation for all higher learning. The students will become literate citizens, responsible persons, and independent thinkers, who will develop positive attitudes and values. All students will be challenged to achieve their full potential.
