What is the Student Assistance Program? |
||||||||||||
SAP is a joint initiative between the Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools and the College of William & Mary. The office is staffed by graduate level students from the College. Student support specialists meet with students for individual and group support sessions. While the program aims to help students at risk for behavior referrals, academic failure, and alcohol and substance abuse, our doors are open to anyone who just needs to talk. |

NOTE: The SAP specialists adhere to the same guidelines of confidentiality as counselors and do not disclose information discussed within sessions, except harm to self or others. |

Who can refer a student? |

If I refer a student, will I receive any feedback from the counseling sessions? Student support specialists adhere to the same confidential and ethical guidelines as school counselors. Student Referral Form |
