Recruitment
Each year, the FBLA officers visit the Business and Information Technology classes to explain about FBLA to the students. In addition, they promote FBLA by showing a PowerPoint of the FBLA organization. This recruitment effort is performed each semester. Other recruitment efforts are: manning a table at Back-to-School Night, Chart-Your-Course Night, and 9th Grade Orientation. A brochure is also distributed at these events.

Preparations for Student Careers
Barbizon SpeakerIn all of our business classes students are introduced to careers. Students produce career documents (resumes, application letters, follow-up letters, resignation letters, promotion letters). Students have opportunities for mock interviewing with guest speakers from the community.

Service to the Community
FBLA service projects in the past have been: Leukemia Society Type-a-Thon, visiting elderly in nursing homes, collecting food for needy families for Thanksgiving, providing gifts to hospital children during the Christmas holidays. As much as possible, we encourage our entire student body to participate in these worthy causes.

Support of FBLA-PBL Projects
Our chapter has donated money in the effort to support National Scholarship contributions.
