| The Eagle Eye Newspaper began in the second year of Jamestown High School's opening (98'-99') as a small, less-than-appealing packet of papers with information about the times and current events in the school. With Mrs. Holly Hobbs as the faculty sponsor, she and several of her students managed to print three issues that year. The following year, Mrs. Hobbs helped to encourage more students to join The Eagle Eye staff. Even with the staff increase, still only three issues were released. | |||||||
| Finally, in 00'-01', the newspaper took on a much more professional look. This was also the first year the staff was able to release five issues rather than three. Last year, several more students joined and another five issues were released. This year, it has been quite apperent that the staff of The Eagle Eye Newspaper has continued to strengthen and develop their work to Jamestown's number-one source of news and current events. | |||||||
