Jamestown High School is located between the renowned historical areas, Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown. With the eagle as mascot, Jamestown High School has focused its theme on the "the sky" as its limit. Whether involved in 4 x 4 block scheduling or setting school standards in conjunction with "The High Schools That Work" agenda Jamestown, even as a new school, is in the forefront with innovation and timely practices.

It offers a comprehensive curriculum in 14 subject areas for 1200 plus students of a diverse population. Advanced courses are provided in most subject areas. The school uses a semester block schedule in which students can earn four full credits per semester. The athletic program offers many opportunities to participate.
