Soldiers Deployed In Africa Get Skype Greeting From Stonehouse Second Graders

Stonehouse Elementary students in Sherry Jones’ second grade class recently had the opportunity to share the holiday spirit with soldiers deployed in Africa.  In early December, the students sent care packages to Joint Task Force members stationed on the Horn of Africa.  The soldiers had just received the gifts and wanted to say thank you to the class.  The second graders had a chance to ask the soldiers questions about their jobs, and both the students and soldiers sang holiday songs together.
