Matthew Whaley Students Mark Super Bowl With Special “Jersey” Math Lesson
Matthew Whaley Elementary students and staff recently celebrated the Super Bowl game with mathematics with its first annual Jersey Day. Students made human equations and solved problems using their own jerseys as parts of the math experience. In addition, students in kindergarten through fifth grade used jersey cards as a different way to incorporate their targeted math skills for the week.
