Lafayette HS One-Act Drama Wins Regional Competition; On To States Dec. 6
Lafayette High School’s one-act drama “These Shining Lives” took first place at the regional Virginia High School League (VHSL) One-Act Drama Competition at Lafayette High School. The winning cast competed against seven other schools in the region, including Jamestown High School’s play “Thanks,” which placed fifth in the regional competition. Senior Madison Landis was named All-Region Best Actor; Wren Beavers and James Scarola also earned all-region honors. Lafayette HS will make its fifth consecutive trip to state one-act competition Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Monticello High School in Charlottesville.
