| Which School will my children attend? | ||||||||||
| Introduction | Many people moving to the Williamsburg-James City County area want to know where their children will be attending school. We have 15 schools in our joint school division. Instructions below will tell you how to determine which school your child will attend. The information is based upon your residence, or street address. | |||||||||
| Step One | Determine your Street Address ( ex. 1234 Education Street ) | |||||||||
| Step Two | Go to the James City County Property Website. or City of Williamsburg Website (and follow instructions there) On the County website click on PROPERTY INFORMATION and you will have to AGREE to the conditions of using the site. |

| Step Three | Look for the button that says SEARCH BY ADDRESS | |||||||||
| Step Four | In the upper right of the screen , type in the street number and the first 4-5 letters of the street address. NOTE: Do not type in the full street name. Then select the proper street. | |||||||||
| Step Five | This screen will let you know which schools your child will attend at the elementary, middle and high school level. It is always a good idea to double check another source as our school division continues to grow and boundaries for various schools do change. | |||||||||
