Student Services
Student Services provides a range of student support and intervention services that are designed to enhance academic, social and emotional success and well-being of our students. Student Services works collaboratively with a wide array of community agencies to offer prevention and intervention services addressing mental health and family issues, drug and alcohol problems, truancy and disciplinary concerns, teen pregnancy, and public health matters. Building-level support for instructional and administrative staff is also a critical part of the Student Services mission, as is serving on Child Study and Crisis Intervention teams, and Special Education and Section 504 Eligibility committees. In addition to the provision of a multitude of direct services to students and staff, Student Services also provide administrative oversight and support to the School Psychology, School Social Work, Special Education, Alternative Education/GED, Health Services, and Homebound programs. The Director of Student Services serves as the Hearing Officer for disciplinary hearings.
