As the Communications Department of Williamsburg/James City County School Division, our hallmark is transparency and our goal is the effective dissemination of the information you need. 

Among our office’s responsibilities:

• Dissemination of news to local news organizations
• Maintaining the Division’s website
• Programming for Channel 47, the Division’s television channel
• Emergency notifications
• Preparation and publication of Division brochures and newsletters
• Informational telephone messages
• Freedom of Information requests
• Teacher of the Year recognition
