Williamsburg-James City County provides a Keyboarding program that includes an instructional environment that results in ergonomically appropriate technique. Students learn the basics of keyboarding with an emphasis on appropriate technique and posture and become more proficient when using computers and other devices. The goal is to develop the lifelong skill of keyboarding. The program begins in the spring of 3rd grade and continues in 4th and 5th grade. The program will continue to grow with the students.
