Procedure for community use of school facilities
1. Those interested in using a school
facility should look over the new policy and guidelines, then go online to use the
division's new facility use software. A link to the new FS Direct may be found on
several WJC web pages, including the main Facilities page (see icon link below).
Read the directions, follow the link to View Calendar, then click the Documents tab to go
to a step by step guide on how to fill out your first request.

2. The e-form will go to the office of the
school where you want to use the space. The Principal, or designee, must review the
form and determine if the space is available.
3. The Principal will either approve or
disapprove the request, then send it on to Facilities Management.
4. The Facilities Management staff reviews
the request, if approved by the Principal, to be sure there are no conflicts with other
division activities, and that the request meets school policy and guidelines. If
given final approval, the event will be scheduled on the division wide calendar, custodial
services set if needed, HVAC scheduled and copies of the form sent back to the school and
the individual/group making the request.
