Sun., Feb. 19: Piano Recital of all-Debussy music by concert pianist Eun Kyong Jarrell, Hornsby Middle School auditorium, 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit special needs students and athletic programs at Hornsby Middle School. Admission: $10.
Mon., Feb. 20: PTA Council to host “Dialogue with WJCC Leadership,” with School Board Members and Superintendent Dr. Steve Constantino, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Berkeley Middle School, 1118 Ironbound Road.

National School Counseling Week Feb. 6-10 Honors Counselors’ Valuable Contributions
The Virginia Department of Education is recognizing professional school counselors this week, February 6-10, as it celebrates National School Counseling Week. The week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. School counselors work with all students to remove barriers to learning by addressing academic concerns, personal/social skills and career awareness in postsecondary options. Comprehensive school counseling programs help to increase student achievement and are a vital part of the educational process for all students as they meet the challenges of the 21st century. WJCC School Board Appoints Jim Kelly To Jamestown District Seat
Jim Kelly, who served for two years as a WJCC School Board member representing the Berkeley District, has been appointed by the WJCC School Board to represent the Jamestown District, filling a vacancy created by the recent James City County redistricting. Click [HERE] to read press release.
